Look, we all want to look like Tyler Durden. None of us do. But by trying to pass yourself off as “less than” your true self in your online dating profile, you’re only hurting your chances.
Tell the truth. Or at least keep the lies out of “extravagant” territory. Even though we could probably get away with “average,” we (Hedgehog) always check “robust” on the profile because that’s what we are. Better to start off as a pleasant surprise and let your mouth do the disappointing later in the date.
Note: This goes for the ladies as well. We respond much better to “extra padding” when we know it’s coming.
