Breaking: Knocked Up - Two: Directors Debate Summer Movies About the Unwanted Pregnancies of skinny white Girls

06.02.07 | Posted by Hedgehog

Exclusive Datehole Update: Reporters today packed a room in New York’s New School University auditorium (the one used by the bat-shit insane bearded guy who interviews Cameron Diaz about her “career accomplishments”). All were on hand to witness a panel discussion between the directors of two current films that depict very different stories about skinny white girls getting unexpectedly pregnant with the offspring of men they really don’t like.

Knocked Up director Apatow amused the waiting crowd and reporters with insider tales from his Freaks & Geeks years. When Waitress‘ director Adrienne Shelly failed to show despite a three hour wait, Apatow took all present out for milk and cookies in the tradition of one of his admitted favorite performers, Andy Kaufman.
