Sex, Drugs and a Lack of Imagination

Rachel Kramer Bussel, aka Lusty Lady [And how! - -Ed.], points out that Heeb Magazine just sold their book, a “collection of writings from the irreverent magazine’s Storytelling series, detailing funny, touching and downright strange experiences relating to Judaism.”

The title? Sex, Drugs and Gefilte Fish.

Oy vey.

We thought the Jews were supposed to be funny. Anyway, we did the absolute minimum amount of lazy-ass research on this and came up with over 50 titles currently available incorporating “Sex, Drugs and…” Below are our favorites. (Remember, these are actual, available books (and in one case, a magazine):

• Sex, Drugs and Cocoa Puffs
• Sex, Drugs and Democracy
• Sex, Drugs, Einstein & Elves
• Sex, Drugs and Economics
• Sex, Drugs and DNA
• Sex, Drugs and Sausage Rolls
• Sex, Drugs, Death, and the Law
• Sex, Drugs, and Aphrodisiacs
• Sex, Drugs, and Cheap Labor in the American Black Market
• Sex, Drugs, Money, + God
• Sex, Drugs, and Other Distant Memories of an Ordinary Mom
• Sex, Drugs, And the Continuing Spread of AIDS
• Sex, Drugs, and the Twinkie Murders
• Sex, Drugs, and Jesus
• Sex Drugs and Sunday School
• Sex, Drugs and Bloodborne Viruses
• Sex drugs and bad TV (Playgirl Magazine: Oct. 1987)
• Sex, Drugs & Windmills
• Sex, Drugs, and the Antichrist
• Sex, Drugs and Football Thugs
• Sex, Drugs & Power Tools
• Sex, Drugs and Northern Soul
• Sex, Drugs, and HIV/AIDS in Brazil
• Sex, Drugs and Wrestling
• Sex Drugs and Knuckledusters

Here’s the crazy thing; Heeb’s won’t even be the first Jewish title in this vein:
